What else could I call this modern sculpture, a blue Christian cross but Sacreblue. This cross is located at a a road junction just across the Méouge River below the hill town of Antonaves, Pays de Buech, Hautes Alpes, France

This modern art represenation of Christ on a cross is striking both for its form and its colour. No information was available on the location on the sculpture, sponsor or purpose of the cross. We just happenened upon it after exploring the spectcular gorges of the Méouge and searching for sundials in Antonaves.
