Memorial stones in sand pit shows Mörrums most remarkable gravesite. Unfortunately, the gravesite has been used as sand pit at the construction of the railway nearby. Some memorial stones have fallen down or disappeared or been moved. The latest funeral at this place was at least tousand years ago.
1812 was a Danish professor at Blekinge who described the burial ground before it became a "sandpit"
