The water tower of Allschwil was built in 1970 and renovated in 1982.
It is 42 meters high and has two tanks with 990 m3 water combined. On top there is a look-out platform that's open to the public on Sundays from March to October. It's a great overview over Allschwil and Basel with the Black Forest in the background when looking North-East.
