Oklahoma's Centennial celebration was in 2007. As a part of the celebration the state and other organizations put up clocks throughout the state.

The Oklahoma Centennial Clock and Bell Project

A public art project that originally was to have 100 clocks throughout Oklahoma. The Centennial Clocks have gained so much popularity that fund drives are still on going in some communities, and more than 100 are in place, with more scheduled to be installed. More information can be gained by accessing this website. There are currently 114 installed or planned installations.
