DIFFERENCES NOTED BETWEEN THE INVENTORY LISTING AND YOUR OBSERVATIONS AND RESEARCH: The Smithsonian description of plaque says:
"…GIFT FROM E. G. WILSON…"
While the plaque actually reads:
"…GIFT FROM E. E. WILSON…"
In the Smithsonian Remarks, it states
"Donated by E. F. Wilson…"
Unsure which is right, but the plaque is the clear definitive!
