According to their website, the construction of the Manteca Golf Course first 9 holes began in 1965 and was first opened in March 1966. The second 9 was constructed in 1979 and facility became an 18-hole championship Golf Course. The City fathers constructed this facility for the pleasure and use of the citizens of Manteca. Along with the Golf Course is a recreational park, tennis courts, full line pro shop, snack bar and banquet facilities.
