Honoring all Veterans of all wars, the engraved monument is a joint effort by the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. The Staples Posts of these organizations were joint donators of the memorial. The memorial is red granite and simple in its reverence. Flanked by an American Flag, the memorial is located at the northwest corner of Evergreen Hills Cemetery. The memorial is located in a part of the cemetery that is not being used for purposes other than the memorial at this time. It is a touching tribute to the men and women of our armed services.
