There are three ferry routes that are served by this terminal. The Ward's Island ferry serves the residential communities on Ward's and Algonquin Islands at the east end of the islands. The Centre Island ferry serves the Centreville amusement park and beaches in the middle of the islands. And the Hanlan's Point ferry serves the picnic areas and beaches on the west end of the islands.

There are numerous paved trails connecting all the public parts of the islands, so it is quite typical to take one ferry across to the islands and a different one back.

Motorized vehicles are generally prohibited on the islands. Further information about schedules and fares is available from the City of Toronto.
