The main service from this terminal is to Wood Islands, PEI and although rates are quoted as round trip, passage to Wood Islands is provided without fare collection; fares are collected in full when leaving Prince Edward Island.
Of course, there's no requirement to leave via the ferry. You can also get off Prince Edward Island via the Confederation Bridge. The toll for the bridge is also paid only when leaving Prince Edward Island.
