John Arthur Carroll Memorial Arboretum, est. 1969, is located beside the Legion at 80 Mary Street. This Arboretum has been planted by members of the Brampton Horticultural Society.

SPENT HIS LIFE IN THE SERVICE OF AGRICULTURE.

BY PROFESSION AN AGROLOGIST, HE ALSO VALUED
FLOWERS AND TREES AND HIS LIFE WAS ENRICHED BY
THE WEALTH OF THE UNCULTIVATED LAND.
JACK INSPIRED OTHERS AND URGED THEM INTO ACTION
SO THAT FUTURE GENERATIONS WOULD HAVE NATURAL
BEAUTY TO ENJOY.

AS A TRIBUTE TO HIM AND HIS IDEALS THESE GROUNDS
ARE DESIGNATED THE J.A. CARROLL ARBORETUM.
