This museum is dedicated to "outsider" artists that are self-taught and not in keeping with recognized schools or traditions of art. The works are created from all sorts of materials and express a personal vision of each artist.

If in Baltimore, this museum should be a must-see. It features works by self-taught artists which are often created from non-traditional materials. The works can be whimsical, emotional or thought provoking and might redefine a viewer's definition of true "art".
The museum has discounted admission prices for students, seniors and groups. One of my favorite museum shops is here too!
The Cafe is currently not open while undergoing renovation.
