In regard to the place where the steep career of the Beatles began, the Indra Club and the famous Star Club in Hamburg's amusement strip "Reeperbahn", the city of Hamburg has decided to build a Beatles Plaza to commemorate the connection between the Beatles and Hamburg.

The plaza is a circular area paved with dark stones and dark concrete and embedded metal rings. The whole place looks like a huge vinyl plate. Along the side are stone tables with the names of famous Betales songs. Close to the center are five metall silhouettes of the the five Beatles (including Stuart Sutcliffe - who is standing a bit offside).
