This very tall brick chimney is located near Ganargua Creek in East Victor, NY.

This chimney is located on Plastermill Road so the obvious guess was that it was the remnants of a plaster mill. I found a picture in a local Victor history book of The Plastermill, which included this chimney. The Plastermill started mining a deposit of gypsum for fertilizer in the 1830's and later built a furnace to extract the lime from the gypsum to be used in making concrete.
