The Marquette Building, completed in 1895, has in it's rotunda four murals showing Father Marquette's visit in 1673 to what would be Chicago. They show Marquette arriving, meeting the natives, trading with the natives and, finally, dying, probably of dysentery. The murals are Tiffany glass and were installed, and recently, refurbished by Tiffanys. They are very beautiful and sparkle.
There are also bronze reliefs on the doors and in the rotunda of various native american objects and people.
