Cirque de Baume is a fantastic place in the Jura region, France. Worthwhile of a visit, especially in winter when few people are around and the mist create an old times atmosphere. When I came the first time I was convinced someone had before described me the place in details, as I was recognizing every single place, building etc ... then I realized this is the location of a famous book written by Jennings ... guess which one! The cascade is formed by a subterranean river, running through a 2 Km cavern, in the summer the cavern can be visited and the experience in really fascinating.
