Saraburi is the capital city of the Saraburi province, ~100kms north of Bangkok. Both the city and province are modestly sized and not the busiest areas in Thailand, however, both have all the essentials. This tally includes a train station situated in a quiet spot, near the centre of the town.
The station is modest in size, and, from what I could make out from the Thai language display boards, does not have a great deal of traffic. The design is entirely functional, without much flare. Worth a visit, but no need to linger.
