Circa 1910, the land this cemetery occupies was donated by Mr. Jacob J. Froese. The story of the church and cemetery can be read here:

Located in the RM of Lawtonia # 135, on the NW of 35-13-7 W3, 1 mile south and three miles west of the old Kelstern town site. There are approx. 150 graves here, the most recent burials just a few days prior to my visit.
Although the area was once fairly heavily populated, it now consists of very large fields, ghost towns, vacant farm steads, and the occasional modern farm yard.
While I walked through the grave yard, I noticed a nice big jack rabbit laying flat to the ground. Its mate had hopped away into the carraganas.
