I found this bridge by accident through the trees, after a snowstorm, on a visit to the area. On a later visit, I made a closer inspection of the bridge, and got photographs.
I don't much about this bridge other than it lies off SR-421 on the west side of Madison, Indiana. It appears that the (now) SR-421 used to wind northward across the creek, and follow a slightly different path than the current road does. This bridge appears abandoned in that process. Old roadbeds, ect. in the area seem to support this theory.
The abutments to this bridge have washed out, but the bridge and end supports remain intact, for now.
