The Venice Presbyterian Church was organized in 1828. The present church building and steeple were erected in 1856.
The steeple is the highest point in Ross. The large, white, wooden base rises about 20 feet above the roof of the church, and houses a single large bell, with large arched openings on all four sides. The upper part rises approximately another 20 feet to a point.
