Each province of Thailand has a central shrine, which represents the spirit of the province, and each of these shrines has a bell for prayer. The shrine for the province of Nonthaburi (WM8FYR) is no exception. Just outside the entrance to the Shrine is a small, ground level, bell. It is normally used as part of the ritual of obeisance to the Shrine, however, it is permitted to strike the bell merely as a visitor.
