Accoridng to the timeline
•1867 - At the April annual meeting it is voted, by ballot, to build a Township Hall. Property, construction, and furnishings are to cost no more than $2000. One-eighth of an acre of land was purchased for $40, and the building was constructed at the corner of Zeeb and Pleasant Lake Roads.
