Long Description:

Back some twenty or thirty years ago, every day the local newspaper ran a small strip called.. "What was that siren?"

These had served no real purpose until they were decommission and used for calling the Fire Fighters to service.

After speaking with several people employed by the City Fire Department, I was told that they had all been removed... when one day I saw this throw back to the 60's and 70's. All of the wiring is disconnected and the paint is flaking off, but still... brings back excited memories of imagining the Fire Fighters rushing to save people.

You can find this on the side of Queenston Rd, half way between Bunting Rd and Hartzel Rd
