Long Description:Located in the Little Tokyo section of downtown Los Angeles, this Museum opened in 1992. The focus of the Museum is to preserve the history of Japanese Americans.
The Museum features permanent and temporary exhibitions - art, photos, film, artifacts, etc. The Museum has an attractive gift shop and a Tea Room.
In addition to the main Museum building, there is an adjacent flatiron building which is part of the complex. Also, nearby is a memorial to Japanese American military members in WWII...and the Geffen Museum of Contemporary Art.

Seniors (62 and over) $5.00
Students (with ID) and Youth (6-17) $5.00
Children 5 and under and Museum Members, Free.
*Free general admission every Thursday from 5 to 8 PM and every third Thursday of the month.
