Boyce Thompson Arboretum is dedicated to the study and display of desert adapted plants from around the world. Displays include a Sonoran Desert Trail, a Chihuahuan Desert Trail, an Australian walkabout trail, an extensive cactus garden, greenhouses featuring collections of succulents and cacti, and a herb garden. The arboretum is jointly managed by the University of Arizona and the Arizona State Parks Department.
