These bricks helped to fund the memorial's foundation. ?This small park has a walking path to the water. The Twin Towers Memorial was created by artist Vladimir Hostomsky, a resident of Redington Beach in September 2008.

The Pentagon is represented by the Pentagon-shaped base
leading up to the columns
There are seven steps representing the
seven continents of the world
The circular garden around the perimeter of the sculpture
represents our world and the blooming flowers are
a symbol of eternal love and life
