The Lorikeet Forest brings you face to face with over 100 lorikeets. For three dollars, you can get a little cup of nectar and try to get the lorikeets to perch on your hand and drink. They are wary of fast-moving children, but settle down quickly and will come and partake of your nectar.
Unlike most birds, the lorikeets seem to be at home on the ground and can be seen climbing in the bushes. Near the back of the Aviary you can see the nesting boxes on the ground.
Street Address: 100 Aquarium Way Long Beach, CA USA 90802
