This bench, dedicated to a Vietnam War Veteran, is located next to the Shrine of Freedom at Veterans Field of Honor. It's a granite bench with a beautiful gold decorative plaque with a detailed inscription and a profile of an eagle. It is the centerpiece at the end of the long walkway, as you head towards the main monument.

Within this memorial lie the earthly remains of a veteran, wounded and disabled during the Vietnam War and forgotten by all but his family and a few friends. Like all Veterans, he risked the ultimate sacrifice in serving our nation and protecting our freedom. Let this monument serve as a reminder to us all, that every Veteran deserves to be honored and celebrated for their sacrifices, not only on special days, but throughout their lives and beyond.
