Long Description:
The memorial is situated in the Stirling Gardens of the CBD of the City of Perth. Immediately, upon entering the Park from the Barrack St entrance, you will see the memorial a few metres to the south east.

The memorial takes the form of a solid, cream-white stone, triangular pyramid, on a stone base, approximately one metre high, resting on a circular, paved area. Each side of the pyramid has a centrally embedded plaque.

The memorial was constructed as a joint effort by the following institutions: The Western Australia Jewry, the Government of Western Australia, and the City of Perth town council. The dedication date was the 9th November 1995. The Park is open to the public, free of charge, 24 hours a day.

There is no direct relationship between the location, nor the City of Perth, to the Holocaust, however, there has been a Jewish population in Perth since not long after its founding. This memorial has been adopted by the Carmel School. The Stirling Gardens are a fitting place for the memorial. The Gardens are the site of several government buildings, the Supreme Court of Western Australia, and many of the statues, and other commemorative and cultural material of the history of the State.
