There are different interpretive sign in summer and in winter that describe the animals and plants that thrive in this area. A braille version of interpretive sign texts is available at the park office.
The loop is 1 km (0.6 mi.) long and is designed to accommodate all visitors. The path is asphalt covered, and the adjacent picnic tables and washrooms provide barrier-free access.
Park vehicle permits are not required in Manitoba's provincial parks until May 1, 2011. There will be free park entry into our provincial parks in 2009 and 2010.
