Andrews amphitheater is a gorgeous theater set on a hill at Andrews Park. Concrete benches on stone foundations are built on the natural decline of the hill, on the south end of the park. There are several aisles in the seating, and there is a concrete peformance area surrounded by stones. There is also a small "riser" in the performance area.
The pathways are paved with stone, and this really adds to the natural beauty of the venue. There are several nice trees near the seating area, which I'm sure help with shading during performances.
Andrews park is a very large city park just north of the University of Oklahoma campus. There is a playground, pavilions, skate park, amphitheater, and splash park.
