Founded in 1906, the Chittenden County Trust Company* built this as their headquarters in 1931. That's it for dates. At some point, Chittenden moved out to larger quarters, and this became the Merchants Bank**, which, in turn, has also moved out. Chittenden's name was never removed from the building.

The building is now Ri-Ra, an Irish pub.

*Chittenden County Trust became just Chittenden Trust, and is now simply Chittenden Bank (a division of Peoples United), with 10 branches, all in Chittenden County.
**Merchants is still Merchants, with 34 branches throughout Vermont.
