Veteran's Park is a nicely maintained and landscaped park in the middle of the city. There is plenty of parking on the south and west sides. The northern end has a beautiful sculpture of Oklahoma native Ernest "Chief" Childers that is on the Smithsonian Art Inventory list. There is also a Women's War Memorial dedicated to the women who have served in American wars over the years. A fountain is the centerpiece of the park, and it has colored lights for a beautiful night-time effect. There is also a sculpture of Broken Arrow High School graduate Hank Meisner Jr.
