This octagonal church was built in 1887, and designed after Ersta Kyrka in Danviken, Sweden. It was the first Lutheran church in the area. The church is not used often today, only for major holidays, weddings, and funerals. There is a large cemetery behind the church, and a large sign at the end of the driveway that described the history of the church. This is a beautiful building, it is worth a look!
