MAGS Artery 79 - U.S. Benchmarks on Waymarking.com

This mark is on the eastern corner of Northern Ave and D St in South Boston. In the sidewalk there's this brick walkway that goes perpendicular to the water, and has a little concrete trim on each side of it. The mark is embedded on the concrete trim on the western side of the walkway. It's about a foot or so from the curb of Northern Ave.

As an aside, this mark and the other Artery marks (69 and 77) I found today are strange in that, although they are MAGS disks, they are not in the MAGS database. Furthermore, unlike the other MAGS disks I have found on other occasions, these have the statement "For information contact Mass DPW Boston" imprinted on them. I suspect they may either be too new for the database or MAGS disks used by another agency for their own purposes.
