An old Victorian Market Hall now serves as the Town Hall in Ashbourne. It flys the new Derbyshire flag outside and has a clock on top.

The Market Hall, was opened in 1861.

The names of the Market committee appear over the balcony. The names include: S E Radley, J S Kemington, E Bradley, J W Lister, J Whitham, J Smith, B Wilson and three I coan not read.
