Hammering Man is a moving art sculpture located outside the La Jolla Museum of Contemporary Art
in La Jolla, California. The artwork is about 15 feet tall, two dimensional and made from a flat piece of cut steel. The hammering arm is motorized and moves up and down, as if hammering.
There are two signs nearby, one on the ground and one on the wall which read:
