Description: Large abstracted armadillo made from welded machine parts and found objects. Discarded automobile bumpers form the front and rear parts of the shell and tail. The body is made out of the coil from an asphalt heater. The scales are punched out of car bumpers; the toe nails are made out of drag line buckets; and eyes are from gears. Armadillo raises up on rear legs and tail; proper left front leg lifted off ground; proper right front leg barely touching ground.
