Cruisin' Gratiot is an annual, week long celebration of automotive history, tradition and memorabilia in the City of Eastpointe, MI.
The events include many car shows, contests and family outings; all culminating in a day long extravaganza centering on one of the most time honored traditions in Detroit history...Cruisin' Gratiot.
This is a free week long event with the only cost coming if you want a sticker for the cruise lane.
There are many places to view parked cruise cars while walking the two mile cruise from 8 mile to 10 mile.
Some parking areas even have live bands and there is now an Eastpointe Idol event.
People are known to set up their viewing spaces the night before the cruise for the cruise the next morning.
Frequency of Car Show: The car cruise is on the 2nd Saturday in June every year
