The Frederick C. Hamilton Building of the Denver Art Museum (http://expansion.denverartmuseum.org/) was inspired by the view of the Rocky Mountains when the architect flew into Denver International Airport. The building has become a signature landmark in Denver, but been plagued with water leaks from the non-traditional roof-lines. The contractor has been called in three times to repair the roof (at no cost to Denver taxpayers since the contract the construction company signed called for a leak-free roof!). Many of the pieces inside are interactive, allowing the public to be involved in the art itself.
