Long Description:
The CBD of the city of Perth can be seen from the crest of a rise in Greenmount National Park. From this position the eastern side of the city is visible, plus a number of other landmarks, including the Perth airport. The lookout is approximately 20kms to the east of the city.
To reach this point begin on Padbury Rd in the suburb of Darlington. Walk west along this road, the houses will give way to bushland. At the end of the road is a telephone tower. After reaching the tower walk ~20m westwards, this will bring you to the lookout point. The road is an easy walk. If you visit at night you will need artificial light.
