In the town of Warwick not far from the Warwick Mall, stands a white water tower with the name of the town on the east side of the tank.
The tank is located by a small river, and is in the back part of the lot for an old mill complex. The best way to see the tank is from the east side of the river. From I-95, take Exit 12 onto I-295 for one exit to Exit 2, heading toward Warwick Mall. Head north on Route 2 for one block, then take a right onto West Natick Road. Go one block, then take a right onto Route 5. Go south on Route 5, crossing Pawtuxet River. Take a left onto Shalom Drive. The water tower will be on the left, behind a residential building. This side is also where you will be able to see part of the name on the tower. To see the whole name, you can walk behind the buildings to a wooded section along the river.
The tank is supported by four angled legs, in white. The tank is topped by a conical green roof with semi-circle trim. The word "Warwick" is painted green on a white background. There are cell phone antennas all around it. The tank appears to be in good shape, though rust appears through the white paint.
The mill by the water tower was once one of the mills owned by B.B.&R. Knight Company, better known for their brand - Fruit of the Loom. This mill was known as the Pointiac Mills. Currently, the mills are used for various small businesses, accessed from Knight Street.
