We stumbled across this while hiking the Natchez Trace trail. There were about six markers, but depressions in the ground indicate there are probably a few more buried here.

We did not want to disturb any of the moss growing on the stones, but this appeared to be a family plot. The names we could make out were all from the same surname - "Speake".

One of particular interest was Ben Speake, 41 MISS Infantry, C.S.A. (Confederate States of America).
Earliest Burial: 02/13/1889

Latest Burial: 02/10/1933
