The park where the gazebo is located has a small lake, playground equipment, a picnic pavilion, and, of course, a gazebo. The gazebo is painted white with two separate sets of green-painted steps leading up to it. On top of the gazebo is a pretty weathervane. The park is best known, however, for its memorial to Rhythm and Blues great, Ray Charles, whose childhood home was located in Greenville.
