This small memorial is located in Loveland's Dwayne Webster Veteran's Park. This park also contains Loveland's Veterans Memorial and a 1918 155mm Howitzer (WM85RD (
visit link) as well as a pavillion and children's playground. This park is across the street from Loveland's Statue of Liberty (http://www.waymarking.com/waymarks/WM5NBG_Liberty_On_Southeast_Shore_of_Lake_Loveland_Colorado).

Enlisted in the U.S. Navy in Loveland, Colorado on December 7, 1940
Killed in Action on December 7, 1941 while serving on the battleship USS Arizona at Pearl Harbor, Territory of Hawaii.
Entombed in the USS Arizona
First native Lovelander to lose his life in World War II
