Long Description:
Ravens are incredibly intelligent. I enjoy watching the ravens that live near my home in the Denver, CO area. They are also showing increased resistance to West Nile disease, which has decimated our bird population in the area.

The artist explains: “My interest in sculpting ravens came about after a trip through the Rocky Mountains. We were taking reference photographs of wildlife and kept encountering ravens.
“We saw a raven in Yellowstone interested in the belongings in a clear plastic pouch on a bike. We watched in amazement as the raven actually undid the latch, opened the envelopes, and took out the biker’s road map and gloves.
“Ravens are curious, playful, and have been observed to use tools to problem-solve. They are remarkable creatures. My travels led to sculpting my first bronze bird.” (visit link)
