Long Description:
This piece explores youth, adulthood and seniority. The piece features partially nude, athletic figures reaching for the torch of life.

'White said he was commissioned to produce a sculpture that spoke to our Loveland residents.
“As I drew it, my working title was ‘community.’ When the piece, with five figures and a torch was finished, the people who commissioned it asked if it could be called ‘Generations.’
“The concept is simply 3,000 years of our history, from a Hebrew scribe through the Greco Roman era to the present. She holds the torch for Free Men to continue to make each generation better. Of course, the baby is to follow. There are three more places to fill, all between then and the present.” ("http://www.reporterherald.com/art/artwork.asp?aw=234&c=1)" target="_blank">visit link)
