This zoo is home to hundreds of animals. This is the largest zoo I am aware of with 500 developed acres of landscaping and animals that is maintained by staff working shifts round the clock. Many of the plants in animal areas are regularly replaced to maintain a lush and naturalistic appearance due to damage or consumption by the many animals. Disney's Animal Kingdom is divided into seven sections; each of these themed sections has its own wonders to behold. The included photos are my own, there is no copyrighted photo or information included in this listing. Some of the information is available from many public sources and some is from personal knowledge of this park and its operations. Additionally some factual information was gleaned from the AZA membership directory.

Admission: Adults - $79.88; Children 0 to 2 - Free; 3 to 9 - $67.10; Seniors $79.88. Summer hours are 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. For AZA members, there is one free admission allowed per year for Professional Affiliate and Professional Fellow members. Winter hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The zoo is open every day of the year.

Category guidelines require an entrance photo. The entrance area was most spectacular at night with the lights so that is what I photographed with the name clearly shown with colorful lighting.
