Long Description:
Brookhurst Park in Anaheim, California is the scene of the zippy
strip, "Solo Flight". Alas, the rocket structure shown in the strip
is no longer present. However, the playground still has the weird
moon rock structures in the playground. There is a weird walkway
that travels through the playground, that's shown in the Zippy
strip. The sidewalk has raised surface areas with craters and other
strange structures with no apparent purpose than to be
other-worldly. There is a large empty area where I would theorize
the rocket might have been. I can see why Zippy loved this park!
