This piece is located in Loveland's Dwayne Webster Veteran's Park on State Hwy 34 as one drives into Loveland. The piece is the American version of the French 155mm howitzer (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canon_de_155_C_mod%C3%A8le_1917_Schneider) used in WWI and WWII. It was donated by V.F.W. Post 41 on Veterans Day in 1958 to the City of Loveland.
The gun is located adjacent to a children's playground and it is clear that kids to play on the gun. It is in good condition, though the tires are deteriorating.
