To the best of my knowledge, this was not the home of Queen Elizabeth! Just kidding!! This is a lonely chimney on a road with some very interesting history, see below.

I don't know the history of this chimney or the house that once got it's warmth from it but I do know a little history about the road it's on. The road is called Bat Creek Rd East and in 1889, a stone was dug up from an Indian burial mound very near this road and was dubbed the "Bat Creek Stone". I'm not going into a lot of details about the stone, that's for another Waymark, but if you're interested in learning more about this, look up the "Bat Creek Inscription" on Wikipedia or Google. Now back to the chimney. There are no "No Trespassing" signs that I saw but I would just pull off the road at the beginning of the drive to take a picture. It's close to the road good views can be seen without walking right up to it.
